Braids
Braids are made of yarn interlaced around a core that is also made of yarns.
They can be round, square or rectangular.
Made of E glass, VHTC or HT glass yarn threaded around an E glass, VHTC or HT glass yarn core, our braids are used in the following applications:
- Door seals (ovens and boilers)
- Ingot-mould seals
- Heat insulation
- Thermal protection and various covering applications
Our aramid, stainless steel/aramid/PBO, stainless steel/PBO or 100% stainless steel braids are used to cover the tools that guide or grip hot glass.
Para-aramid/stainless steel/quartz braids are also available.
